Our Story

It all began in October 2018. Regina was sailing with cousin Mel and Mel's boyfriend, Antonio. After a few drinks and plenty of laughs over LA's bizarre dating scene, Antonio suggested: "You should meet my friend Brigg! He also has some "fun" stories to share." Regina, you see, does not love being set up but agreed to the four of them going out together. Antonio worked his magic to get Brigg on board, arguing that dating a logic-minded German might be the solution to all his problems (surprise! Regina is half-Russian, na zdorov'ye).

So one Friday night, the four met at a lively French establishment called Zinqué in Venice. After firstly not speaking to each other at all [Brigg claiming Regina wasn't interested in talking to him; Regina, however, insists it was Brigg who was chatting to everyone, but her] eventually, two bottles of wine later, they couldn't stop talking with one another.

The night was young, and the four went to another favorite spot named Neighbor. After some 20 minutes in, Mel and Antonio straight-forward declared that they could also be watching Game of Thrones right now and, if none of the two were planning on talking to them any longer, would prefer to do so and happily left.
Brigg and Regina, now on their own, talked movies, filmmakers, Bill Murray, and much more for hours, and continue until today.
