Parking

There is garage parking at the church for the wedding. For the reception, there is valet and street parking in the Shutters area but we strongly encourage you to take an Uber, Lyft or taxi. Please do not drink and drive!

Childcare

We will provide childcare during the reception with 1 to 2 recommended and experienced nannies on site. Please bring your baby’s / kiddo’s favorite toys, diapers, bottles, strollers, etc. so the little ones can enjoy their play date! You will be able to check on them at any time.

Weather

October is our favorite month in LA. The air and ocean are warm, the sunsets are fantastic and the nights still have a touch of summer. Temperatures are usually between 80 and 60 Fahrenheit / 26 and 16 Celsius, with an average of 68 Fahrenheit / 20 Celsius. 

The Pacific Terrace has a wind-protected layout. We will have heaters ready for the tables outside and will head downstairs around 9:30 pm to our dancefloor, bar and lounge. The Promenade Room has an adjacent Terrace for those who didn’t have enough of that fresh ocean breeze.

Dresscode

You can’t go wrong with festive / cocktail attire, please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and happy!
If you tend to get chilly, please bring a jacket or whatever keeps you warm for the Pacific Terrace..

Smoking

Please note that the City of Santa Monica prohibits smoking within 20 feet of any building.
Smoking is therefore not possible on the Pacific Terrace or Promenade Room Terrace.
